I was the beneficiary of this, but it just seems wrong so filing as a bug.

CUST21, Memphis owner has not logged in since 6/19 and appears not to have set a K on his depth chart.

K (https://cust21.myfootballnow.com/player/4497) on the roster is 82/85. According to his player card he is not assigned any position on the depth chart.

When needing a K in the game, the AI did not select the best player on the roster for the job in both CUR and FUT rating as I would expect it to when filling a hole. Instead it decided to play the second best K on the roster:

WR (https://cust21.myfootballnow.com/player/1657) who is 27/51 as a K. According to his player card he is assigned as WR1 and Gunner7, so this doesn't appear to be an explicit decision by the owner.

Unless owner is purposely tanking to get better draft picks, the only other way this can happen without being a bug (and I have done is mistakenly before) is when trying WRs at PR or KR, if they don't fit I drag them back up top. Occasionally the WR will "stick" in the K or P slot if you don't make sure to drag them all the way to the top part of the screen.

The AI also uses the owner's weights to decide who the best player is, so if for some reason his weights are set incorrectly (perhaps he thought he was adjusting a different position) it will do strange things too.
