Hello, I'm not sure what happened on this play. Any feedback would be helpful, thanks.

This play had 4 defenders in the center of the field to cover 3 receivers(and maybe a RB if he decides not to block). I assume #57 was supposed to cover the TE, but he just sidesteps slightly then stands in the middle of the field and doesn't even attempt to cover the TE.

Maybe because the play had a "run key" the LB was playing the run not the pass?

The SS and WLB did not cover either.
