Weight in weights

Player weight doesn't seem to be taken in account in the players attribute weights. So, if I use the auto depth chart setting, my starting RB, who has passing block 100, is at the top of the special teams blockers. Same thing for a 280 lbs DE as gunner? One is too light for the role and the other too heavy, or am I giving too much importance to weight? Thanks!

But apparently it does impact a player's overall rating, even though you can't set your personal weights as to how much for each position.

FYI, don't let the AI set your depth chart. In fact, try to take as much out of the AI's hands as you can, or it will be to your detriment.

The AI always seems to leave out a RB or two or a starting LBer or something stupid when I auto set it...

Being overweight and underweight are supposed to affect a player's overall rating based on the % the player is overweight or underweight, but...

...in my experience, being underweight does NOT affect a player's overall at all. I've seen a lot of RBs and FBs that would make "excellent" OL despite being 200-220 pounds. Whereas if they were the same percentage overweight, they would be docked 20-40 overall points like they should be. A good example I've seen of this was a 280 pound TE with 99 potential SP, Catch, Route, and I think Courage that I saw in one of the leagues. I was going to draft the guy and make him a WR, but the weight difference dropped him at least 30 points based on my weights.
