How often do new coaches come into market and also could it be possible to maybe hire one of your current players that plans on retiring to a coaching position if he was still under contract when he retires. Maybe have the 6 day FA window to decide if you want to retain him before others can send him offers? The player can still be listed on your roster but with maybe a (C) on years remaining to let you know he would like to become a coach

I am asking this because I have noticed in MFN-1 there really are no good coaches or ones that even become available

Maybe it`s because the coaches are all very young (mid 30`s on my team) and so,like a good woman,they get better with age?

MFN-1 suffered from a bug when the coaches were generated that made them all mediocre, so there is not a great group of coaches to choose from. I think it got fixed before MFN-2 was launched.

New coaches are generated every offseason; they are generated usually around the middle of the pack, but like players they will trend in one direction or another. It will just take a while for the MFN-1 coaches to normalize because of the issues when they were first generated.
