When a league is due to run a sim, but does not run for lack of players (or another reason), the game should hold on to all the inputs for the team.

In MF-4, after I took ownership, I put in a bunch of things I wanted to do, and forgot it. All my input is lost :( Same for MF-1. I didn't realize it until I saw that you said they are starting up at 50%.

That shouldn't be the case - everything should stay queued until the first sim runs. What kinds of things did you do that you lost?

In MF-1, I made an offer to an assistant coach.

In MF-4, I made offers to a few free players.

MF-1 I redid the offer... it was just one offer. I did not try redoing anything in MF-4.
