Not that it is that big of an issue but if there are some owners towing the line of being over the cap, could cuts made after preseason game 4 not include a salary cap deduction? I just released 7 players to get to 53 and each one had a small payout for the season.

Yes it is a miniscule amount but I feel there should be a cut to 53 sim (regular season week 1 midweek) with no money charged against the cap.
