Players that are no longer on my team (FAs I didn't resign), show up in the war room when I am setting up my auto-queue settings.

Hey, I don't need to put much weight for WR. I already have enough. Wait, no I don't. That guy isn't even on my team any more!


It's very frustrating that we have been complaining about this issue for well over a year, and nothing has been done yet. It should be a very simple and quick change.

It's unfortunately a bit more tangled to remove them from the roster during early FA, there's a lot of logic that makes that work that would all need to be removed and tested before rolling it out. It's not been a high priority because you currently have a filter to see just players who are under contract during that time, I've been focusing on more pressing issues.

But players on your team should not be showing up in the war room, if that's happening this is the first I've heard it.

... oh, wait, you're referring to the weights dialog. You're right, that's something that should get fixed.

There's obviously a process that removes these players from my team right before training camp.

I don't understand why this process doesn't happen right before early FA instead.

The reason is that there are other pieces of logic that are deciding how to display the players during early FA, i.e. the menu on the team page changes during early free agency. I just have to take the time to make sure that all places that act differently during early FA no longer do so.
