Did you look at view plays to make sure what the options there are?

Hmm? Let‘s say the rule is, always Run on 2nd & Short, and Short ist defined via yardage in that rule to „0-2“. With the settings in my earlier post, which means it should be applied every time that‘s the situation.

So seeing a QB dropback on 2nd & 1 now simply means, the rule is not working.

My rule is different, but the principle is the same. It should be applied every time.

Or is it a question of personnel? Like, that is selected first, and if I had no Run Play in my playbook with that personnel, he would have to call Pass?

Ya if you have no plays available that could be the case. I've never tested it, I always look at view plays when making rules
