I'm not real Salary Cap savvy. But if their IS someone who is......
Could you, or would you please go to my team page (Cincinnati MFN-67) and tell me if I can get through the draft? It says I have $ - 6.26M+ Dead Cap. Then It's says 'Room Under Cap $13,070,568' and 'Need for Draft Picks' with the same amount. I just need to be sure one way or the other. I would appreciate it if anyone can help me get through this...... Thanks in Advance! (This is also posted in the League Forum - under "Team News" |

(This is also posted in the League Forum - under "Team News" There is nothing you can do during the draft other than trade away picks. Don't worry though the AI won't do anything with your team as a result of the cap until after training camp. So you will have all of late free agency to get it resolved. |

I don't have access to your league, but based on the information you provided you will get through the draft without worry. However, prior to roster cuts or not signing some of your rookies you will have $0 to work with during the upcoming season for roster moves or re-signing your players.

I think the real question here is why is his Dead Cap number a negative number? I've never seen it displayed as a negative.
That is what makes me think there is a bug somewhere. |

Bumping, because this is interesting to me as well. I got dangerously close to putting a team in financial ruin (like gamebreaking cap issues), and would like to know what would happen in that case. Just settle with a cap break? |

I am not sure how the dead cap went into the negative, I've put it into the bug watch.

I think I've figured it out, what seems to be happening is that when you have less cap room than what you need for your draft picks.... it resets your cap room to exactly what you need for draft picks and takes the difference away from your dead cap.
