A newly drafted player's contract should not be enforced until their first training camp.

Ex: You should be able to draft a player at #5 and then trade him for the #7 pick without having to eat the signing bonus.

I think this is a much needed and overdue fix.

YOU picked the player therefore YOU have to pay the signing bonus which is fixed by the NFL board for drafting.

No. That's not how it works in the NFL. You can trade the rights to a drafted player without signing a contract.
