A RB with a 63/65 default rating, lead a league with over 2,000 yards rushing.
It's unrealistic that an average back would dominate over all the 85+ guys.
Shouldn't higher rated players perform better over time? Otherwise, what's the point of any rating at all?
You can edit your players weights. That back was an ex QB. His lack of in tangles lowers his default, but I can get him close to an 85+.

#1 - I wouldn't put too much stock in the default ratings. It's good to know what they are so we can better understand why the Ai assigns certain trade values to players, but as far as using them to determine "good", "average" or "bad" players, forget it. They aren't any good for that purpose.
#2 - The system a player is in, as well as the other players around him, can make a big difference in how successful he is.
Check out his early seasons .. sadly I haven't been able to recapture the magic .. lol

You might have to wait a few more virtual months. I had a guy....it's been 2 years (virtual of course) and he still livid..I have him as a 67 rated QB. Boy ! I must have pissed him off!
And thats why there should be a limit of how long someone can be livid at you.
just using your example of 2 years then really there is a chance it could be 3+ years a player could be livid at the owner.
Doesnt mean we should be able to trade someone or cut someone a day then the very next day we could resign him if we had the chance too.
i just think having someone being livid at you for 2 years is little over the top.
i could understand 1 year , 6 months , 3 months or even 2 weeks but 2 years is little excessive of someone being livid.
Best draft pick I've ever made. Disappointing that whoever took up my team after I left didn't keep him on and continue racking up those numbers. He should have easily retired at or near the top of the rusher's board in L9, though it would have been tough to match Colton's career numbers.

I'm afraid Colton's days are numbered. He's getting a little long in the tooth. My #1 pick in the allocation has NOT been a disappointment.

When you came back on here I was going to ask you what the secret was in getting him going ... lol
