On some forums I've been on there's a nice feature (which adds to quantity of threads/posts etc) whereby when someone 'likes' your post, you're notified - that way you're encouraged to post more often (?). Maybe not, but either way, it's nice to see when/which posts people are 'liking'.
Think it also has a ranking of number of posts per user and likes.
Just a thought if it's easily done
