Does anyone know how to get into private leagues or join them?
Thanks, Chermy10

Can you create private leagues?

league 75 is the first of the private leagues and it was an invite only league for some of the more experienced owners on the game. I'm not sure if there will be more of its kind but it is a great league so far. We have tons of content and every team. I will add you to the waiting list if you would like. Come check out our boards and see if its something you'd like to be a part of in the future. If we get enough people on the waiting list maybe jdavid will be inclined to add a second private league :)
There was one league that was created to ensure a level of competitive parity is maintained. The main driver was no tanking or at least an honest effort game in and game out. That is why these owners were " invited".
There is not much different in this so called private league that is not in any other. Except the fact that these owners are most likely coming to play an active part in the games out come.
Other competitive leagues might have more "banter" and better games but I feel that is an opinion anyway.
There is no real criteria for the league as I was there at its creation. Only to egg on its possibility from an idea to reality . Other gamers here were instrumental in knowing even who to "invite" and then doing so . Much thanks! as my invite was from blackflys, but I know others have done alot of personal work and time to make this league what it is today. Great IMO!
Any way the main reason I posted is cause I see potential in another possible "private" or "invite" league. Maybe not the same as 75 but still another option to fill a league of dedicated owners.
I don't care if it has any criteria, but like to have some reason to be in a league like.
Some ideas in the past were winning percent or trophies but those ideas faded years ago. Still I just saw JDB talking about pay leagues in the future. I think having desirable leagues would drive up game revenues. If someone really wanted to be in a private pay league .
Other ideas could be..
Perhaps rookie owners...under 3 or months of play but not over a year of play.
Or my favorite kinda league.....one that you can be forced to sell a bad franchise after losing too much.
But really I see more and more desire for some sort of another invite league, but was wondering if anyone else wanted to do another .....cause without the effort it would just be another league right?

ya i definitely think for serious mfn owners the private or pay leagues would be more attractive then the normal leagues. There's just too many inactive owners that bring down competition. I would definitely pay to be in 75 if that is what i had to do to be in it. To me it's so much more fun then the other leagues i'm in. I do see the interest out there to be a part of it and that;s why i think private leagues could be the future. I like that idea Ray about owners being relegated. Reminds me of soccer where the bottom teams lose there place in the top league based on their finish. This would cause people to do whatever it takes to stay out of the bottom. The incentive to be as competitive as possible the whole season.
