If you keep your 2 year players into next season then they will obviosly now be one year players. so if player A is being paid $500,000 with a $1,000,000 bonus that last season .. if cut, you pay the $1m that season.

In that case, he's no longer actually on your team anymore (WHY is he on your roster? That's another conversation that's been going on for years).

When it comes to your one year players avoid that renegotiating wizard .. you can save several million just doing them individually. Jsid linked an awesome help for that in another thread. Bonus you eat no matter what. If you cut this season, that bonus counts again cap and total future bonus accelerates to dead money for next season.
