I still think that this can work if you can somehow make a team war room seperate from the league. My problem isnt with the war room itself but when looking at the draft class and trying to go through the pages. once you get so far in the draft the first few pages fill up with P/K and then you need to get to the 4 page and further but after 1 or 2 of them they stop loading all together. making it so you can eliminate the p/k and see all the players like you can in the war room will make a big difference. Also if each team can have there own draft room where they can have players added and then put in priority list will reduce time needed to be in the leagues war room. If the player is picked he will still be removed from your list but at least you could keep track of it better.

Yeah I think the page re-loads if a player is picked on any prior pages, which causes a crash

I think if the suggestion of being able to load in a list of player ID #s to generate your draft board was implemented this could help dramatically, as you can work on your board offline and then just load it in.

This would be great! We could replace our existing (if any) priority list with the uploaded list.

Well, I wasn't quite expecting that much pushback :-) I made a few minor changes early this morning, did anyone do anything in the war room today and notice that it was different at all?

My main concern about this being a difficult experience is when I'm thinking about the new player. If we have in influx of new players to the game and the engine spawns multiple leagues, then the first exposure most players will have is to the draft war room. My concern is that this experience will push them away from the game as it stands now.

That said, I do feel really good about the changes I made today that felt, to me, that the issue was resolved to an acceptable point (the page is still slow, but it is orders magnitude faster than it was especially when the pick fires). Curious to know if anyone worked the war room today and noticed anything.

Thanks for your feedback, guys!

I think you have a legitimate view there and think it does have some credence, especially for folks with a low patience level.
I'll be honest it was off putting BUT from what I've seen of the game so far and your willingness to sort stuff out think that most Noobs will hang around.
I didn't have any picks in the lower rounds so can't comment on any changes you made, but from how quiet this thread went, maybe you've sorted it.

Could the screen data itself be reduced?

IE, if the amount of data being displayed is partily responsible for any slowdown, then only display the ongoing picks for the current round along with a table of all the picks made by the team?

I noticed that the war room seemed to be much better on Saturday. I wasn't in it much, but when I was I noticed the lag didn't seem too bad.

I thought this might be due to not many people being in the war room, but I guess it was due to whatever you did.

Good job.
