No this isn't a bug. The penalty is on the offense with the clock at 0 means the game is over. If the penalty had been on the defense then the offense would've been allowed one more play.

If it were declined then the game would have went into OT.

Either way it's an end game senerio with a bug in the sense that those three point would have been awarded.

This is my point ...

The penalty would have been forced cause the offense is not allowed to manipulate the penalty system like that...... the refs overide I that senerio IRL.

They would have gotten to kick it again in the nfl...

This is so specialized to current nfl rules. ..I don't t know it it is codable. Well at least at this point. A ten yard penalty and the clock would be set to zero but allow one more play...I think?

I would send this one to the rule committee . ..no game would end this way...irl

No the offense wouldn't get a "free" play in this sense cause the play where the penalty happened caused the clock to reach 0 at the completion of the play. Like at any other point of the game the time still ticks away till the completion of the play. At that time the penalty is given, which would cause the offense to retry from ten yards back. But because there is no more time on the clock the game is ended. That is exactly how it would happen in the NFL today irl.

Thanks! IDK what I was thinking

On a foul by the offense on last play of half or game, the down is not replayed and the play in which the foul is committed is nullified. ... No score by offense counts

Perhaps I as just seeing if anyone is awake out there
