I find the earned income credit kind of funny too, someone gets like 9k back because of the EIC and then they say I got 9k back for my taxes.... no you got somebody else's taxes back.... lol.

Why can we argue about something else, like Deflategate or Peyton Manning's forehead? :)
Think Manning's going to Indy now btw?

Here's my gripe. Ppl think a Utopian Gov't is a possibility. It isn't. Someone will always want more than they have, whether that be power, money, food, or possessions (they generally end up coinciding).
Even if, by some miracle, it was possible, there would be citizens that rejected the idea. If you disagree, read the book 1984 by George Orwell. Or watch any of the new movies that present the same form; The Hunger Games, Divergent series, Maze Runner series.
Any attempt made by any gov't for a Utopian type system will tragically fail & end up with a Distopian type system where the gov't controls every aspect of the ppl's lives. Ultimately the ppl will revolt.

No doubts, but with relevance to whats happening now, I think 'Joe Public' just wants a fair crack at the whip and their voice to be heard, just like we had here in the UK with Brexit and with Trump certain quarters will get that, but where he thinks he's going to get all this money from is laughable. The comparisons with Brexit and your US election have many similarities, most alarmingly though the rise of the far right, ignore that if you want but as history has proved its a very dangerous thing to do and with Trump in control you have a very dangerous divisive circus master.

First: This nation was founded on the idea that "Joe Public" would always have the whip to crack and that their voice would always be heard. So good for us!!!
Second: Where did any of these clowns that preceded him get their money? Oh yeah, that's right. They accumulated a massive debt that the tax payers (Joe Public) are paying back. So he's no more laughable than his predecessors.
Third: I applaud your country for showing some backbone & telling the European Union to go screw themselves. That's where the real circus is and you should be grateful that the people spoke up.
Fourth: The far right is as messed up as the far left. I think they are both extreme in their values. There is a balance in between that should be met, but that is a different convo.
Fifth: I honestly hope every nation in the world is trembling in their boots because of this election. This nation has been too generous to other nations while being mocked & taken advantage of. It's about time that came to an end.
Best speech I've heard in... well, probably in my lifetime. It's the 'Hope' speech Obama should have given. Not that Obama wasn't great at speeches, that man is a natural orator.
I'd have went with another word than 'unstoppable'... which is on the speech writer... and I'm sure Trump bumbled some of this, he's not very smooth in delivery. But this, regardless of what you think of Trump, is one **** of a speech.
I've always felt when you listen to a speech, you should take the Speaker out of it... because you will have a bias one way or another towards the Speaker. If you love Trump, would this Speech have stirred within you had Obama given it? Romney? Clinton? If you hate Trump, would you have loved this speech if it was given by some one else?
I think this is a Speech that Hillary Supporters would have LOVED to hear Hillary give... though her Political Views are divergent from the purpose of this Speech.
Unity. Giving the Government back to the People. Giving the People back their Voice.
I mean what kind of person could honestly argue against any of that.
I despise politicians...especially the ones who never worked an honest days work in their entire life. And the only thing worse than a career politician is a career politician who is also a lawyer.
If a politician has been in office for 10 or 12 years, then its time to go. they get too **** comfortable and self important to be worth anything. The only thing they work is their mouth.
I'm going to thoroughly enjoy the next 8 years (yes 8 years) Watching Trump **** these scumbags off (both parties) will be a delightful experience.
And don't sell Trump short...he's a business man. He knows how to make a dollar or 2... and he knows how to get the right people in the right places to be successful.
