I can't seem to promote my OC to HC...even after receiving advice from another player (I hate to keep bugging the guy)....I bring up my OC's "card" and click on contract...and I just get the terms of his present contract.....I was told that there should be another "contract" button, a red one above it...but I don't have one.

What the **** am I doing wrong....any help is appreciated, thanks.

if you've already given him a contract this season he can't get a new one. Only one contract per year.

I haven't given any of my coaches a contract...it's just whatever was there when I took over the team.

However, even though I got in for the beginning of the league, I was not the original owner...will it possibly come up , when the new season officially begins?

Maybe the previous owner signed him this season. Once the new season starts you will be able to promote him

If you can, however, it's generally better to poach someone from a different team as long as they meet your needs.

Definitely don't condone that at all..It angers people. Although..it's part of the sim and happens in the real NFL. I was told by a reliable source that coordinators don't really have a huge effect on anything other than the default playbooks available to your teams ( if this is wrong, i would like to know.)

Hey, I'm loyal to my guys... I haven't poached a single coach in L75. As long as I'm moderately happy with my PB it's not at all worth the headache of adapting to a new one with a new HC.

Heh! It's all good, I have had coaches poached, but I've never gotten overly choked about it, I'm a little laid back for that... I've never actually poached one, I should try it, should I? It kinda sounds like fun...
