So after doing a couple of End OF Season Drafts I feel like there is a key component missing, Communication.
The War Room would benefit from a chat window, where we could interact with one another. I feel this would make Draft day trades easier and just encourage better participation from the league.

There is in fact a league chat, it just doesn't really get used.

A lot of people aren't really on until around their pick anyway, I just don't think it would really add much.

That is good to hear! Right now it is just way to difficult to actively try and trade up or down the board when half the users in the league don't have a presence.

It varies a lot league by league, 10, 19 and 75 are the most active with a couple that are decent here and there.

I have no doubts that some leagues are better than others. In the end though i think having a place where messages such as "I would like to trade down" and "Would anyone like to move up" are prominent when someone logs in to check on the draft would be a much better way to handle it.
