Please, please, please have it appear on every defender's card as its pretty much the only reason I ever have to do extra clicks to get to a player's full ratings screen.

If you add it to your custom weights for a position it will show up for you on the player card. If you want to see it on the open player card but do not want it effecting the weights just set it to 1.
