I asked a question in MFN General about help with rules, and no one else could utilize them very well either because of how hard they are to navigate. So I have made a list of proposed changes.
a) Add the ability to name ANY rule, saved or not
b) Put the name of saved rules on the rule
c) Add a search option at the top of the rules page
d) Add a sort/filter option to weed out specific rule situations
e) Add an option to AUTO LOAD ALL RULES to get them into your new teams rules page without having to add them all individually
f) Ability to 'Re-oder' your rules, instead of having them all in the order in which you created them. This will help with grouping rules and being able to easily find them.
g) SEPARATE THE OFFENSIVE AND DEFENSIVE RULES - I cant stress this one enough. There should be at least a one inch page break between offensive and defensive rules
Agreed. I have just started putting together a set of rules and I would sure like to be able to name them and see those names on top of each rule on the "Rules" page.

I don't think picking specific plays for rules is a good idea.
But being able to select specific formations instead of just personnel groupings would be good when making defensive rules based on what your opponent does in certain formations, just like NFL defenses.
of course the rules will need to be optimized even more but at least it's a start. Keep giving JDB great ideas and maybe he will use them. I think this is a great topic for mfn live show so if anybody has any questions or ideas about it feel free to ask in the mfn live forum. I'm hoping we can get JDB on sometime and really get some good content from the "man" himself.

The current setup in MFN1 for testing takes care of issues: a, b, f, and g. And really, if you use good names, that also takes care of c and d. Just do a normal search on the web page (ctrl+f).
