Looking at the team roster page, if I need to find out which players contracts expire when, it seems you need to go to each player in turn.

Would it be useful to add a column on the team roster page that contains the number of years left on each players current contract?

Select 'Edit Filter' and select 'Player Contracts' from the second drop down menu. This will allow you to see both the years remaining and the current cap figure for each player.
