There are certain plays in the playbook that put my QB in a bad situation. He seems to be uncomfortable and makes mistakes. So what I did was either scale down the playbook or I just don't put it in the game plan for that week, it seemed to have worked. But the last game one particular play I thought was omitted was called in the game and my QB was intercepted. How does this happen?

If a play is not in your game plan, it should not be called, but the AI will reset your game plan if you don't have enough plays selected.

Ok guys I found the problem, it was me. I should have cleared the selection and picked my plays

How many plays must you select? Some games I prefer only about 25-30 plays. oher games I like more. I know ai will reset if your number of plays are over the limit. There is no warning about being under???

look at the top of the play selection screen. There is a place where it will show X/30. If X is over 30 it will be highlighted in red.

this is the reason for my question I know too many plays will reset the game plan. as I said some games I only like 25 or 30 plays. What # of plays is too low? Will the ai reset my game plan if I am under? I don't like when players use only 4 or 5 plays and agree there should be some sort of repercussion. I often don't like or my coach doesn't have 40 good plays my team is familiar with? will running only 30 reset my game?

I believe that if you have less than 15 total plays selected to choose from between offense and defense then it will reset.

never go that low...I'm not playing Madden here...lol
