I don't know if this has been suggested before, but I think it would be a good idea someday to include like an offense versus defense scrimmage for like 10 drives or so and u be able to set the gameplan for offense and defense to be played during the midweek sim. It'd be really useful cuz say we have an opponent with a great but predictable offense. I would want to see what plays work against it, so I could set up my offense to resemble the opponent's offense and try out my defense in that scrimmage. If it works, great and I can use it for the game. If not then I have to modify it but there will be no scrimmage that week to test another GP out. It'd probably be a ton of work and I understand, but maybe years down the line, it could be a cool feature (and give the midweek sim more interest)

this was one of my favorite things about deep route. I think if you can have a set amount of practice plays against your own team you would benefit greatly while trying to gameplan against teams.

Yes I agree. Also like I said it'd give more importance to midweek (and cause players to be more active). I feel like it'd help both vets and especially new players who aren't sure what plays counter which (which is what I got through a lot). One test run every week would be nice, sort of like simulation g one practice that the team has during the week lead up to the game. It'd take a lot of work to implement though but maybe down the line it'd be nice
