I will revisit this again. I have a kicker and two punters but the game puts the wlb in to kick the ball in all situations. I know it resets if you do not set your roster like I have ( leave all positions blank) but it is clearly a bug/ glitch.

btw Ray Mattison21 i think the reason that happened is i noticed you dont have your players in the depth chart or at least what i can see from when i go to your team so maybe that has something to do with it.

If not then i got NOTHING to why that happened to you.

I am just noting the fix has not been applied yet. Not that it is important or not but I appreciate the link for jdb to look at....one day

That's sounds correct, but I assumed the backup depth chart would have chosen a kicker in that place as the kicker was still available to choose from. As I only sets my weights before the allocation and the rest of the AI choices for positions seem to have accuracy and merit, but a WLB to kick seems like a bug or at least 2534 on the list of to dos.

So if you do not set a kicker as a reserve kicker for preseason the back up/ default depth chart will be played across all formations? Again I am assuming this fires again as starters are being pulled because it is preseason and also under the pull starters option for regular season blow out games?





Basically, think of an empty depth chart as 'undefined.' I'll have to look and see why your kicker was not chosen in that situation, WarEagle is right he should have at least scored best. Ideally, though, you should at least load the recommended depth chart so you have some measure of predictability. The AI will never actually fill your depth chart like it will your game plan

1/1 Field goal; 2/2 extra points .. I've had actual kickers do worse .. lol

what is more troubling is that he did better than actual kickers and he is not a kicker.

i just hope that this is just a one time thing because if someone wins something with a LB like a division title , conference title game or even the super bowl with stats like this one i would imagine it would be ugly for awhile unless of course everyone and their brother decided to use LBS as kickers to free up space to have another football player on their team that they can use somewhere else.

He is pretty bad.

Um, I had this happen in my game this morning in CUST-33. I have 2 kickers, and I had them both on my depth chart. My one kicker(Guest) started the game with the kickoff, but neither he nor Hamilton played the rest of the game. I had a LDE, RDE and 2 WR's kick in the game.

I also has 2 punters on my depth chart and they both played. No issues with punting.

Really. So in the regular season this will not happen? Is it because I have 2 kickers on the depth chart? I have never noticed this with one kicker on the depth chart.
