Starting DE subbing as the kicker

So in 75 I had 2 12 year kickers on my roster and I signed a 5th year kicker and the AI dropped one of the 12 year kickers thus leaving the field goal depth chart spot open. In the game that followed the AI coach subbed in a DE for all the field goal and XP attempts instead of 1 if the 2 kickers on the roster. We all know in real life this would not have happened and just wondering why it did. At least I won the game

Same thing happened to me on my last game. I have 2 kickers in the depth chart, and yet one of my CB's managed to get the kicker's starting job. He went 1 of 4 for extra points and 0 of 1 in fieldgoals.

At least it was just a preseason game and I won. I still wouldn't quite like this happening in a regular season game.

it is suppose to happen in a preseason game because the settings for how long the starters are in the game for the preseason game (either for 1 quarter , two quarters or 3 quarters ) makes that happen .

it is just not suppose to happen during a regular season game because there is no settings to pull your starters after the 1st , 2nd , 3rd or 4th quarter though you can pull your starters in a blowouts.

If no kicker is in the chart, no Matter preseason or regular season or playoffs, the ai ignores any kicker on the roster and subs in the next best guy...jdb knows it's a bug
