If you go to my team San Antonio third transaction says
2026 Free Agency 1 DT John Brown Signed contract with San Antonio ($4,584,986, 2 yrs)

If when i go to his opinion of me it says UNHAPPY
on his page of transactions i released him 2021 Midweek 1

Considering he is unhappy shouldnt i have not been able to sign him to my team even though it has been 5 seasons ??

I just think this is a BUG that could be a exploit if you can sign a unhappy player back to your team i would think his opinion has to be neutral or happy for us to sign a player again and if not then really this should be fixed.

Its now WC game Week and he's "Unhappy" with me .. But still willing to accept a contract.

My 2 cents? This is the way it should be .. a paycheck is a paycheck. Every team has a notice via the waiver wire he is being released. No one else claimed him.

I could understand a refusal to resign if a team with a better record tried to make a waiver claim and I got him back on that technicality.

But other than that .. paycheck is a paycheck.

The only state a player will not sign is if he is livid.

i just thought you couldnt sign a unhappy player so i posted this thread in thinking it was a bug or at worst a exploit.

i will say if i am able to sign a livid player then i would probably post a thread about it.
