Going through the first full season with a Private League, I am starting to realize how great it would be to send PMs to a mass amount of owners.
Yes, posting a link for voting on the league forums and creating a post would serve the same purpose. My concern though is since the MFN community at large can respond and view, there could be an owner or two who wants to chime in their thoughts by selecting a Team name and following a link and posing as that team <= ok, that's an extreme example I admit .. lol
It would also be nice that if there is a private concern that needed to be raised to the commissioners jointly, you and those 2 could follow one line of communication. Right now the only way to do this is publicly in a forum.
As much as I think locking the league forums to league members only is a solution, I see it also as a benefit because if I'm looking for a league, I want to know the drama. (I'd be fine with them locked to outside posters).
Maybe a "League Lounge" for league members only and establish a PIN? Maybe a sub chat room that is linked to join a "League Members Only" chat on a teams homepage? I know the league chat is private but, it doesn't really save a history for that long.
Sorry this trailed off .. Im one to try to offer solutions/thoughts along with a suggestion. But my computer knowledge is quite limited on what you can/can't do.

actually i think facebook has something like this where if you want to send a message to many people you have to add them all to the message or even the the iphone has it where you add everyone you want to send a message to so i would think really best option is have it where you can add everyone you want to send a message to or everyone in the league gets sent that message that has something to do with something in the league and i would think problem solved.
