JDB could you perhaps put the league rules next to custom leagues like in a box beside them in the league selection screen showing the difference between standard. Like trade restrictions, FA length, or any other restrictions/rules and a link or mouse over showing the restrictions? Also perhaps allow for a league description?

After creating a league, are you able to edit any of the settings?

Yes, you can edit everything except the current year and subdomain. Changing the number of preseason games will not change an existing schedule but will update future seasons.

What is subdomain?
Is this editing of divisions?

Can more than one person admin the same league?

Are we allowed to link pages here to an outside website? (stats, standings, rosters etc..)

And last stupid question, say I wanted to create a ladder system of leagues(ie: college to pro) for a couple of leagues, is it possible for sim players to merge from one league to another?

I love that last idea! I always wish the game worked that way in general , but I see a different growth system for players is needed first .

Enjoy.

  • You may choose to allow anyone to join your league, or you may require approval before ownership is given.

  • Thanks for all the previous answers.

Will the creator of the league also have the ability to remove an owner?

Not right now, but I am sure that will be necessary relatively soon. It gets complicated if the user has used credits to customize anything and then the league owner removes them, I need to figure out an equitable response.

JDB, I will resubmit this question:

Is an allocation draft mandatory? I am toying with the idea of beginning a league with roughly equal talent for Season 1 through assigning players to each team based on weights (ratings) ... or perhaps one where "equal" rosters are re-allocated by the league every season.

    At this time, yes.

Can new players as in new to MFN make trades right away in the private leagues?
Or do they need to wait (i think it's 30 days?) as they do in public leagues?
