I recently had some trades offered in MFN-27 and sent counters. Depending on whose end we were on, the trade value varied greatly. I would see certain trade numbers, while the other guy was seeing considerably different numbers???

Probably has to do with player weights. A player on your might be rated 90, but because of the way the other coach rates players, he might only be an 80

Weights are supposed to impact the overall rating you see for a player, not the trade value.

The trade value is supposed to be based on the Ai's rating for that player at their best position.

There is also supposed to be some consideration for a player's age, and a lower score for punters and kickers.

There may be a bug with the recent website update. I'll investigate it and deploy a patch today.

We had the same convo in 86 awhile ago. 2 or 3 owners were seeing different trade values for the same player.

Haha, I have nothing to worry about, however the "unless" is certainly a laced accusation. If I bring the subject up, it is obviously not an issue that I was concerned about keeping quiet.

It is a sad state of affairs when fly-by-nighters pop on and make irresponsible comments. Perhaps in the future you could think before you speak...be classy
