In CUST-9, I picked up two players off waivers with the intention of seeing how much they wanted to resign:

However, neither player has the contract button so I can't even try to resign them. Note: This is despite the fact that the contracts they had when waived were multi-year contracts. Miles signed a 4 year deal in 2023 and Paniagua signed a 3 year deal in 2024.

Their contracts are one year contracts so you have no option to re-sign.

To be clear, are you saying that ALL players picked up off waivers are considered to be one year contracts? Because that seems to go against the JDB quote I posted above.

Not sure why that wasn't working, but it should be fixed now. Your expectation was correct, you should be able to re-sign a player picked up on waivers who is in the last year of a multi-year contract.

Awesome! Good fix. I was wanting to offer a contract to one of my players, but running into the same problem.
