Is this correct behavior for players picked up off waivers?

In CUST-9, I picked up two players off waivers with the intention of seeing how much they wanted to resign:

Jess Miles: https://cust9.myfootballnow.com/player/5965
Peter Paniagua: https://cust9.myfootballnow.com/player/5257

However, neither player has the contract button so I can't even try to resign them. Note: This is despite the fact that the contracts they had when waived were multi-year contracts. Miles signed a 4 year deal in 2023 and Paniagua signed a 3 year deal in 2024.

In this thread https://cust9.myfootballnow.com/community/thread/1/3083?page=1#20942, JDB says:

When you sign a player off waivers, you are taking over the contract

So to my mind, I should have the option to resign them. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Their contracts are one year contracts so you have no option to re-sign.

To be clear, are you saying that ALL players picked up off waivers are considered to be one year contracts? Because that seems to go against the JDB quote I posted above.

Not sure why that wasn't working, but it should be fixed now. Your expectation was correct, you should be able to re-sign a player picked up on waivers who is in the last year of a multi-year contract.

My bad; I didn't consider that the players were in the last year of a multiyear contract.

Awesome! Good fix. I was wanting to offer a contract to one of my players, but running into the same problem.
