I was under the impression that the team with worst record got dibs on all Waiver claims in a given week. I ask because in Custom 62 I put in a claim for [player=5471]QB Samuel Lambert[/player]. He was released by Annapolis (sorry blackflys). When the Waivers came through I signed [player=4522]SLB Gordon Rollings[/player] with my team, Salem (1-3). I put in a claim for Lambert but he was picked up on waivers by Annapolis (4-0), the very team that released him. I'm wondering what happened in this instance. Appreciate any feedback you might have, JDB.

I believe the waiver claims take last year's record into account for claiming a player (unless the league is in its first year). If this is true, Annapolis had a 2-14 record last year and your team was 12-4, so Annapolis would get any player the two teams put a claim on.

That would be acceptable. I would just like an explanation in more detail.

Still waiting for an explanation........please. If the criteria for Waiver pick ups is noted somewhere, please let me know. If it's based off a team's performance from the year before or if there is a cut off week for when/if it picks up the current season's performance.......

The priority includes the previous year + the current year through week 7, then only the current year through the rest of the season.
