Would it be hard to give more leeway when changing names and numbers?
I tried changing a players name to "Tre" and it was "invalid" The only option was "Trey"
The guys real name is "Tre".

Also, with the new private leagues can we open up the numbers for college teams to use any number available?
For example..in NCAA a LB can use a single digit number.

Appreciate any help with this.

And really if someone were to make a Arena Football League then i think that kind of football does it too (Not sure though)

anyway i think really having the ability to create a league would make it possible to open up the numbers to use any number available for every player and my way of thinking works in 2 ways.

1.)Really the created leagues should have something that regular leagues dont have to in a way differential themselves from regular leagues.

2.) if someone wants to create a league that where players can use every number for every position then really it restricts them to what they can do and really if someone wanted to recreate a famous football team from either NCAA or maybe a PRO league they cant do that which really means they will have inaccuracies in their league.

ya i think in a private league numbers and name restrictions should be removed. I think this is on the agenda i was just hoping it would be pushed through quicker :)

You can assign any number you want, just change the position to one where the number you want is an option.

Then once you have the number you want, change the position back.

You have a point there. I haven't done this since the position restrictions were put in place.

ya i've had a hard time with rb's and wr's in the single digits as well as defenders. THe name restrictions is something i really think needs to go in private leagues. There's a lot of real players that aren't available.

I'd go a little further, I also want to be able to change the College as well.
AND....extend the name change until AFTER TC. If it were possible also if you trade a named player, he resorts back to a random CPU name or they can choose to keep the name.
