Could someone please explain what happened on this play? 3rd and 11 from the 0 yard line, it doesn't even show them getting into formation and the play that was run.

Usually the game trips out on game ending field goals with the line going into a weird formation.
Game was considered over here as the game hit you with a safety and abruptly ended the action. |

Yeah, I know the result was a safety, just wanted to see how it happened! Sucks it does that!

Agreed, that does ****. :( Those safeties used to be a lot more prevalent and have definitely been cut back.
(backed to one's own end zone sacks)

Like, reading about how the play goes down, it wasn't even a safety due to a sack but instead it was because a receiver was tackled in the end zone which I thought was weird. I understand that the receivers were running curls which cause the WR's to run back to the LoS but still thought it was weird!

If you don't hit it immediately then the receiver keeps running to the LOS and beyond, even into negative space. That's what happened here. :( |
