I'm managing three teams right now and I really haven't seen a huge increase. I did experience my entire backfield being injured and having to sit out a few games in one league though. That was interesting. Some time ago I had all my QBs get injured and had WRs and TEs in under center. One of my teams this season has gone for half the season with no one injured more than a probably status. Never had that happen before either. *knock on wood*
It's frustrating and horrible, and it usually doesn't happen like that in real life, but I think it's just a challenging aspect of the game.
Like when a tsunami of injuries swept up my entire Giants WR real life corp in one fell swoop this past season? (Marshall, Beckham, Shepard and that special teams ace - Harris)

5 years ago my Cowboys had the worst defense (by stats) ever. EVER. Wonder why? There were games they had to play with LBs who the week before were working at the grocery shop!
