If JDB should read this, one small code change that would be very easy and at least ameliorate some of the difficulty.
Owner abandons team = Dead Cap reset to Zero.
but i love taking on these teams! gives me a challenge of fixing the problems even if it takes a season or 2 or 3..lol

Seems the solution is, not to involve the admin, but for the owners to reject poor trade offers. Is it one owner's fault if another accepts a trade that is imbalanced? Seems like a lot of whining about an owner who manages his team in a way that other owners don't approve of. As long as trades don't violate code of conduct policy and the two owners involved are willing trade partners, then what business is it of other owners? By all means, warn other owners of "bad" trade partners, but don't go trying to get the owner drummed out of the league by the admin.
