a player in the draft class in MFN2 : Rating: 35/63 From Start: -1/-2 This Season: -1/-2 College: Pittsburg State Draft: Undrafted
I had never noticed this. How is it possible? Does it have a meaning about the player future progression?

Hmm, yeah I'd noticed that too.
Presumably that could relate to stats being adjusted between creation time and the lead up to the draft?
It would be useful to have some confirmation as to it's meaning. If it's something independent of normal progression rates then we know it's not an issue.

Are you looking at a player out of position? For instance, if a guy lines up at FB at 36/65 and you're looking at him as a HB, I think his stats for that position might be 35/63. Or I could be completely off-base.

Cust-10 draft class.
No filter, so showing all players.
Preston Vaughan, RT Conditioning 15 Position Exp 25 Strength 62 Intelligence 96 Discipline 100 Max Speed 55 Acceleration 22 Run Blocking 35/85 Pass Blocking 61/98
Rating: 40/82 From Start: -1/-1 This Season: -1/-1
Click Edit Filter, select RT - so player stats should be looking specifically for RT skills. Looking at the same player, still has negative values.
So that one certainly isn't being looked at for a different position.

This is a bug. I thought I had fixed it, apparently not.

Phew ;)
So will that affect the upcoming draft tomorrow in CUST-10?

Also fyi We had this in the last mfn 1 or 2 draft and I didn't find it to be a reliable tell for future progression.

It was from the players being generated before the end of the regular season, I don't know if the players are actually progressing (if they are, as Davesgang said it's not a reliable tell because the sample size is way too low as it's only 4 games) or if there is just an error with getting the "initial" values.

Ok, that makes sense.
I'll just ignore that and treat the values "as is". Shouldn't impact my draft boad tbh. Especially since the way I'm going I'll have every pick in the draft...
