Does this logic come into play yet?I chased a qb down into the corner of the end zone.Then he throws the ball towards the sideline.A saftey was not called on the play.

Sounds like he's out of the pocket and could chuck it in to row z if he wanted without IG. Either way, I don't think that penalty is implemented.

It's not implemented - at some point I'd like to but it is rare enough in the NFL that it's not a high priority. The QB will only throw the ball away if he is outside of the tackle box right now.

Maybe base it off of Intelligence, Discipline, and amount of pressure on him.

Intelligence could tell the "Do I remember about that aspect? Am I paying attention to whether I'm in the tackle box or not?" And the combo of Discipline and Pressure can address the "Holy S***, do I even care? I don't want to fumble / get sacked / take a loss!"
