so i think i know the answer already, but i thought i would ask to confirm.
So i have a player on my team that got seriously injured like 9 weeks doubtful in the season finale..here we are during the draft cycle of the next season and still says doubtful 9 weeks, so now he will start to heal again at TC? or does last seasons injury get wiped clean..it's concerning to me because he is one of my top defenders.
I just don't want him to be out for 8-9 weeks..from an injury that happened last season..

The injury will clear out and you'll start fresh with him into the next season.
I have had, on rare occasions, a player who had an injury from the last season, that has been out 2-4 weeks to start the pre-season, but the injury was (at season's end) about 10-12 weeks. Your guy should be fine to start the season.

This. On rare occasions a player can suffer a catastrophic injury that he does not recover from in camp, and that tanks his attributes.

Other question about injuries...
How does a neck injury affect a player in the game ?
... And a concusion ? I have a player that have a concusion with 0 week left, and his concusion rating at 67
