actually i think the reason he didnt get any change is because it looks like he was cut on 2030 Late free agency 3 stage if he was cut AFTER training camp then i think he would have had change.

FAs do. I bet he had no or very little room to grow in relevant categories (for potential ) . Under his progress he did go up some. Perhaps that was just a weight boost, but high volatility guys with little room for growth who boom will no go up in overall cause nothing worth anything counts towards the algorithm .
