Hey guys, I need some advice with what to do with my DT Bobby Lowery.

He's the best DT in the league by far. He has some impressive stats (https://agent86.myfootballnow.com/player/3890) in every category. The problem is that I don't think his production is what do you expect from someone like him. He's in the range of 8-10 sacks a season, but in some games he's nonexistent.

So I was thinking... should I move him to RDE/LDE? He has 75 speed so I really think he can have way better stats if I move him there. On the other hand, it's more difficult to find elite DT's players than Defensive Ends so I don't know what to do. Let me know what do you guys think. Thanks!

Looks to me like he's just not getting enough playing time to get the higher stats, either that or the O-lines are just good enough to block him out all the time. :)

With 35 hurries from the middle of the line he has some potential on the outside, but his greatest potential (by 5 points) is at DT. If it were me, I would put him into the "rotation" at either or both DE spots and see if his tackles per game go up. He has good Acceleration for those positions.

I think jlyman is on to something with his first observation. There are five players in Agent 86 who have recorded 29 or more sacks in a season. Those five guys saw 1,004, 884, 1,119, 1,328 and 1,308 snaps in those five seasons. Your guy saw 856 snaps last season.

Move him to RDE and dominate the run game. Move him to LDE and dominate RTs. I'm surprised he's not getting more sacks though.

Thanks for the replies! Yeah he had two consecutive important injuries so his snaps aren't very high. I think I will give him some reps at DE in the Pre-Season and we'll see how he plays.
