Kick Returns

Hi everybody.

Recently I've been having trouble with my Kick Returners basically refusing to return kicks; in a recent season in MFN-13, my returner only had 9 all season, while in MFN-67 he only has 10 and in MFN-23, only 15, despite their success when they actually do run the ball out. These #s are well below many others in the league, and I was wondering - what actually causes these guys to make that decision, and how can I influence it?

Not absolutely sure but I think its how quick the other teams gunners get close to your punt returner. Try to find a way to slow em down and see what happens. That being said I think the punt game is on the list for jdb to work on in the future.

Kick returners need high kick return, speed, ball carry, AND intelligence. It's that last one that determines when they are going to return.

Is it documented anywhere what the stats actually affect? I would have never thought someone's int would affect kick returns.

No. Everything that I know I've pieced together through various forum posts on MFN-1 or general forums.
