So, I drafted this guy out of Maryland...he's the #2 TE on my roster, and I'm not huge on TE's.
Messing about in pre-season, I put him in as a returner. His pre-season stats were 5 KO returns that averaged 40 yards per return and a TD. I was late getting to the opening game in week one, but managed to scout and adjust the O & D depth charts....but forgot about ST's. In our opening game, the TE took 7 Punt returns, averaged 34 yds per return, and took 2 to the house. https://nfl-league.myfootballnow.com/player/3481 Suffice to say, this guy is now going to be the sole returner on the team :) |

Makes me wonder if the Kick Catching algorithm is wrong and it's treating 10 catch like 100 catch. I wouldn't be surprised.

Kick catching does not impact anything other than the ability to actually catch the kicks - low kick catching will have more muffs. Once he has the ball, the logic is the same as any other time a player runs with the ball.

109 last week for a TD (obviously)
And only 105 this week......this guy is a trooper ! I'm happy to take the odd fumble now & then for me holding my breath when her returns......he really is a trooper. Seasons stats : PR = 12.4 avg..2 TD KR = 45.0 avg..4 TD (one in preseason) = 5 I'm well happy.
