One thing I'd like to see is the option to reduce the salary cap for a league,.. so far from what I'v seen there is barely any free agency action as everyone has so much cap space, maybe like a 20% reduction as an option. that and lower the trade point value for players in general. thought?
While salary cap still is more team friendly than NFL imo, JDB did put in a fix which started to squeeze teams as leagues progress and the players demand bigger contracts. Some leagues I'm in I am feeling a real solid squeeze already.

that's good, right now it seems way to easy to retain all your key players. Also a 10th year LG shouldn't be commanding a 2nd round pick in trade value etc.. I think that needs to be adjusted or removed all together

Who says a 10 year LG shouldn't command a 2nd round pick? OL and DL play the longest in MFN with career lengths easily 15 years for elite players. A 100 Run Block, Pass Block guy with good athleticism is easily worth a 2 even if you are renting him for 3-5 years.
Just a quick add on, recently I made a note on a couple of offensive linemen and was like *** in seeing retire rates or retirement in the Year 10/11 range. However, I haven't studied it. Just recall seeing a retirement or two and thinking um, how did that happen.
Yes, typically offensive linemen have long shelf lives!

DL too, they typically play 12 years easy in this game. In fact it's one of the few positions I'll trade high picks on in that 5-8 year range.
I'd like the option to freeze the cap for user created leagues. On a year by year basis and also have the option to input the % amount of increase each season.
Im on the fence on being able to reduce it as that has the potential to create problems league wide. And a league is a terrible thing to waste. :)
