With a somewhat heavy heart, I am officially announcing that the current season (Private 75, NCAA) will be my last in MFN. Much thought and consideration went into this difficult decision but I've decided that it's in my best interest to step away from MFN after this season. There is nothing in particular that is making me step away, but various concerns and priorities are definitely factors in my departure (such as but not limited to; Work, Hobbies, Current gameplay, Waning motivation, lack of time to put in, etc)
Very difficult decision to say the least as this really is the best football sim community out there as I have gotten to know some really awesome people. JDB really doesn't get the recognition and applause that he deserves as I can't even imagine putting in the hours in my spare time to develop an entire football sim, and continually make an effort to improve this game. None of us would be playing this game without him literally. The man, the myth, the legend, thank you John David Baker! While this game seems to be at a stale point with the current code, do not give up hope on this game. Given time as well as many hurdles to jump over, this game could see some major improvements and could be a huge hit in the future.
There's a very good chance that I will come back one day given what the future may hold for me. In fact, I will try to jump on the site to some of my favorite leagues and see how the game is progressing as it continues to develop. I may even make a few surprise posts in a few leagues with some creative write-ups as an outsider! That was probably my favorite aspect of the game, coming up with creative write-ups to acknowledge player performances as well as highlight upcoming games.
Before my final season is up, I will create one last post to commemorate all the leagues that I've been in with Mr.Krazy's All-Time team, which will include a full 53 man roster of the very best players on my teams from the leagues that I was in.
I hope to enjoy my last season with all of you, and thank you all for making my MFN experience that much better!
i hope you will reconsider to where you could just be in 1 league and knowing you have 2 full seasons ahead of you maybe another update will happen and you will stay.
if you do leave i will be sad you will be leaving because if nothing else i like reading your threads for the off season .

One of the biggest bugs in 0.4.3 has already been fixed in beta (the one where DBs do not engage at the LOS). JDB is working on diagnosing the others. You should stick around for a few more months since 0.4.4 will be everything that 0.4.3 was supposed to be.
Oh no, but wait that'll mean we'll have the short pass dump offs to the RBs which mostly result in dropped passes coupled with long passes on fail mode with WRs jammed up at the LOS.
Not only that...in 4.4 now the running game gets turned upside down, which can only mean bad things.

0.4.4 will only address further issues with the passing game.
