question for the Vets - coaching

I am in my first season just finished game two, I do not like my OC. Can I fire and hire during the season?

What are the drawbacks for a move during the season.

Yes, and none (assuming you can find a good replacement).

However, you have a lot of control over what plays are called via gameplanning.

I would look to make adjustments there before I got rid of my OC, if he's any good.

The OC doesn't have any impact on games. Just a slight impact on player progression throughout the season.

If you click on your positional coaches you can get their ratings also for all coaching roles. Maybe one of them is better rated? If so, you can offer them the OC job and then you would need to replace that positional coach (maybe your old OC, he should be highly rated as a positional coach .. lol)

Its worth noting that coaches can get better or worse. Pay attention to progress.
