For those who know me you'll know that I'm still relatively new to the sport.
I've heard about bell all season but still can't figure out the stand off - I know it's something to do with contract negotiations.... but that's all. Now this morning it says that could be the end of his career with Steelers etc.

Could someone clarify IN REALLY SIMPLE LANGUAGE (I don't really get what franchise tag is for example!) why he's not playing etc.
