Maybe this 1st part is debatable. 4th and 21, 1:16 left in the game I'm down by 1 with 2 timeouts left and on my own 31 yard line. Instead of going for it my team decides to punt the ball away. I guess maybe the logic is I stop them on all 3 plays, force a punt, get a big punt return to setup a last second field goal?

My team does indeed hold them to a 3 and out, they punt the ball from their own 29 yard line with 20 seconds left in the game. For some reason, my punt returner decides to let the ball go instead of try to return it and make something happen.

Finally, I get the ball with 20 seconds left, through an incomplete pass and then for some reason run the ball to end the game instead of at least taking a deep shot down the field to see if a miracle could happen.

What is your hurry up setting in Misc Gameplanning? What you describe you expected should happen if your team is in hurry up mode, so it sounds like for some reason you didn't get that hit.

JDB it is a Custom Roster only so he cant do gameplanning in it or at least that what it SAYS in the League Directory about the CUSTOM - ROSTER ONLY thing
