Fast DBs vs Slow WRs
by ZootMurph @ 8/31/2013 5:22 pm
Is it possible to have a fast DB SLOW DOWN, to cover a slower WR? I see a slow WR running a deep route 1 on 1, and the DB is faster, and ends up 15 yards away when the pass is thrown.

Another thing... agility. The ability of a player to change direction. I see guys making 90 degree cuts all the time. Are all players equal in this? Should they be?

What is the DB's M2M skill? That drives how far off the receiver he might play (the lower the skill, the higher the probability that he'll play further off).

On agility, WR's are able to make sharper cuts if they have a higher route running skill, but aside from that specific move agility does determine how slow the player has to be running to make a sharp change in direction; all players should not be equal.
