I have noticed not just on my season stats, but other teams as well. Why do running backs get so many passes attempted their way? My RB has been thrown to over 90 times this season, almost twice as much as any of my receivers. Why does this happen? Is there anyway I can tweak and adjust this so my QB will throw to my receivers more often?

In the 0.4.4 version, my understanding is the QB's progression is from short to long (whether this means route length or time on pattern, I'm not sure)...regardless, since the RB is typically running a flair out of the backfield, he usually fits the criteria of both being the shortest route down field and the shortest time-wise to reach the end of the "route" and therefore be open to receiving a pass.
The net effect is a lot of passes going to RB's.

ya the code is being changed to fix this problem but if you don't want to throw to rb's just take out the plays that have a rb going into routes. I think we are all sick of the swing passes though :)

Well, I do want to keep passing to the running backs. They are great check downs, but just not so datum much ;)

Right, IRL he's the safety valve if nobody else is open. But in 0.4.4, he's the primary, regardless of what the play says, until the engine is fixed.

There will still be a lot RB passing in 0.4.5, but it's getting better. That said, there is a lot of RB passing IRL. There were 5 RBs in the top 25 in receptions last year and 7 in the top 50. They were all from different teams. That means that 25% of the league had an RB in the top 50 receptions.
The problem with 4.4 and it will still be a problem with 4.5 is that the QB doesn't see open deep routes soon enough to matter and WRs still drop too many open deep passes.
